OPPO has launched the Oppo Realme 1 smartphone, this is the on-budget phone of Chinese company OPPO. The Realme 1 is exclusively available online only on Amazon. This is the first ever model of OPPO to represent on the segment of the budget. The availability of this phone is in three variantsㅡone is 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage. They are directly competing with the Xiomi's smartphones. It has different prices for different variants- 8,990 for 3 GB, 10,990 for 4 GB and 13,990 for 6 GB.

This phone also has a different range of colors. This phone has a distinctive design, latest operating system and an amazing ratio of the display. It will be a true contender for other phones at this awesome price. This will be the best low budget phone. The features, specification and the performance of phone are impressive. Large display, HD resolution is too attractive. It is affordable in the range and has a good battery life. It has the good storage of RAM up to 6 GB. Indeed, the overall feature of the phone is completely priced worth.

Unboxing of Oppo Realme 1

The box is made of ordinary thick cardboard in a two piece. The handset puts into an assigned chassis which is made of plastic. The box consists of the user manual for any query about smartphone and there is a soft plastic case for the device to protect it from slight damage. There is the separate place for the charger so the device and charger will not come in contact to get the strike with each other. There is no any issue with the damage at the time of shipping. Design

The design of Realme 1 is made up of fiberglass body, but its body mostly made of plastic. It has the effect of glossy diamond-cut on the back side of the phone. The performance of Oppo Realme 1 is quietly great. It manages to perform all the function smoothly. It can manage our daily routine tasks like surfing the net, taking selfies, many networks provided applications, videos, and a extensive load of work. This also has the capacity of managing the heavy subjected games. In fact, it does not get temperate after heavily using the handset. But if you want to play 3D games in this handset then it is not for you because sometimes it creates problem while you run heavy games.

The Oppo Realme 1 has a rear camera of 16 megapixels with a LED flash and front camera of 8 megapixels. The camera has a feature of artificial intelligence which is inbuilt in it. It has the ability to identify 296 facial points. It also has a camera app that supports IOS which is easy to operate. This feature of the camera provides a broad change in modes like panorama, AR sticker and time lapse. There is a completely advanced feature for modes which helps you to change the aperture, ISO, exposure, screen speed and white balance.

The front camera of the handset is powered by AI that automatically recognizes the things like skin type, skin tone, age, gender etc and edits the things in an image from setting according to the needed perspective. There are many filters for beautifying the images. The photos from the front camera come awesome, but it creates a problem in low light.

The front camera and the rear camera both have the capability of taking photos in a blur effect by using the rule of software. The rear camera of 13 megapixels is also featured with AI technology, so Oppo Realme 1 provides the facility of scene recognition and edits the image for the different background and different object. It enhances the image up to the decent look, but still, the images look little boring. There is a sensor which has a bad range of the vigorous scene, and there is also an auto-focus effect in low light. Videos can be recorded by both the rear and the front camera up to the 1080 pixels.

There is an AR sticker which is well accomplished, and it is funny and freaky way to influence your friends. There are total 14 stickers which can be used as per your choice. It can be used for both rear and the front camera. So there are many best features in camera which you can use according to your choice.

Network and connectivity

The Oppo Realme 1 supports dual SIM at 4G networks, but you can use 4G networks for one SIM at a time, for other SIM 3G can be enabled. It supports Bluetooth of v4.2. It used micro USB2.0 for charging and transferring of data. The connectivity also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G VoLTE and 3.5mm of the audio jack. The FM radio and GPS/A-GPS both options are also available. The smartphone is using the outdated method of USB, even the other handset is going towards the upgrade type of USB. So the network and connectivity services are just good but not that much better. It is not any problem even it is good at network and connectivity. I personally used this smartphone and I have not face any issue related to networks and connectivity. Overall, it is just above the average. 

Verdict about Oppo Realme 1

The Oppo Realme 1 has uniquely designed and tries to give a shining like the diamond. It has a great performance at that price, awesome battery life, and the separate slot for micro SD card and an amazing display. There is an absence of fingerprint sensor, disarrange software and an ordinary quality of a camera. It has three different variants which are good.

This is affordable and it has a maximum expandable storage. It has an attractive panel on the back portion of the device. It has a great AI features. The bad thing is that it is mostly made of plastic. It has a bad performance of the camera in a low light. This smartphone just supports micro USB which is old-fashioned. It has a colorOS which is also a negative thing about this device.

But the overall feature of this handset is better than the rest at this budget segment. It has mostly positive things than the negatives. So it is directly challenging the other smartphones especially Redmi's smartphones. It is enough good, so you can think to buy it. Because at this price, you will not get this features. It will be a great place to start if you are thinking about buying a new smartphone in a recent time.
