Bathroom Cabinet and Taps Buying Tips and My Using Experience

When I collate the computer data, I find my previous purchasing strategy in terms of buying bathroom cabinets and water taps. I feel like this is actually a good opportunity to summarize it, plus my using experience to give you guys some suggestions on choosing bathroom cabinet and taps.

Part one: Major Consideration of purchasing bathroom cabinet

After doing a lot of homework, there are several factors that need to be considered when choosing the bathroom cabinet. Here I list six factors and I hope it will be useful for you to consider as a reference when you choose to decorate your bathroom.

6.    Large Storage capacity

As I am a girl, I think the storage capacity of the mirror cabinet is extremely important.  Therefore, I highly suggest all the girls buy the mirror cabinet with a large capacity to store stuff. (Especially cosmetics) Moreover, it is better for the mirror cabinet having a drawer because of the convivence factors. If not, it is also acceptable, because the cost is also a major consideration.

To summarize all the factors I mentioned above, the material I chose for the bathroom is solid wood composite board, wall cupboard, net leaded brass taps, undercounter and mirror cabinet.

Part Two: Using Experience

Now we are heading to what I think the major part. As I have no idea whether the bathroom cabinet is useful or not, so these are the actual using experience after using the bathroom cabinet after a year. I hope it will be useful to you guys.

1.    Excellent moisture resistance of the board

I have been using it for a year, and the board doesn’t expand or contract. Moreover, the water drops on the board can also be quickly evacuated and it will not infiltrate into the surface of the waterproof. Touching the board, the surface is also relatively smooth.

2.    Hinge with damping, mute and clamping

Hinge, cabinets, and drawers must be selected with damping because it is easy to use. Every time you want to close them, just push it gently, the door or drawer slowly resets itself. It will not make any extra noises or convulse the cabinets and drawers. This function is particularly useful when there are kids in the home. It would prevent the doors clamped the kids’ hands.

3.    Convenient to clean the basin

The design of the undercounter coordinates the water blocker, and it is easy to be cleaned.

4.    The usefulness of drawable taps

Regardless of drawable tap are using in the kitchen or washroom, it is pretty useful, and I highly suggest people choose it.

5.    Space of mirror cabinet

The storage space is large. It usually stores cosmetics and other products.

Part three: Summary

1.    After moving into the house, don’t purchase extremely cheap furniture. Instead, you must buy one with high quality but no need to be blindly expensive. And I have a good example to support this point. When I purchase all the bathroom furniture, the retailer gives a free water tap to me. When I install the water tap, I chose this free one instead of buying a new one. Back at that time, I thought the difference between taps are small and I believed there is no need to buy a new one and it would be pretty inconvenient. After a few months, I regret the decision I made before. There were so many troubles caused by this free tap, such as the peculiar smell of water, clogged water taps, and the broken drawable function. It costs me so much money to repair this tap. And the worst thing is that due to the construction of the cabinet, it’s almost impossible to switch to a new tap, and I have to continue to use this one. Whenever I see the water taps, I always think the stupid decision I made before. Therefore, I highly suggest you guys should choose high-quality stuff to install. And to avoid buying expensive stuff, the best way is to set a budget limit and choose the optimal one which lies in the budget.

2.    Although the shape of the basin on the stage is nice, it is hard to clean it up. Practically, it is better to use the undercounter.

3.    I think we can choose the environmentally friendly board for the bathroom cabinet, which is cost-effective. And most importantly, the material should not have any bad smell.  

4.    Choose the mirror cabinet.

5.    The tap should be made of pure lead brass, which can inhibit bacteria and it will not rust if it used frequently.

For me, I think the brand is really important. Especially when you buy stuff that is used in your daily life and related to your health. And I am not interested in doing research in terms of understanding the mechanism behind all the materials and functionality. The most common way for me to deal with is buying a recognizable brand because it saves your time and gives you a guideline when you feel confused. Therefore, choosing a recognizable brand is a good way for you to buy stuff and it will not cause any large mistake.
