Vivo Y83 is the best smartphone which delivers a quality performance with some advanced features and comes in the budget. This smartphone has many features like the display. The 6.22 inches of HD display with the resolution of  720 * 1520 pixels gives you a large screen through which you can entertain yourself with large pixels videos and play various high-resolution games here. The camera quality is superb. It gives you 13-megapixel rear snapper and 8-megapixel front snapper which gives you a picture in high quality. The resolution of the picture is so high that if you want to zoom the picture then the pixel is not distorted. The Camera has the feature of Autofocus, Face detection, Auto Flash and Digital Zoom.

This smartphone has good battery back up so if you do daily routine activities like web browsing, run the social website like facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram then you have a whole day. This smartphone gives you a battery to run for a whole day after the full charge. The performance of this handset delivers you an Octa-core 2GHz processor which gives you the feeling of smoothness when you use this handset. But the display resolution of y83 is not so high. You can use various common features in it like fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and gyroscope.

Design and Build

The handset is designed in such a way that it is much easy to carry this smartphone than other handsets. The dimensions of Vivo Y83 are 7.7 * 75.2 * 155.2 mm and weight is 151 grams which is less than other mobile phones. So, it is much easy to hold this handset due to the less thickness. The structure of handset is in the way that its four edges are rounded and it is built with a metal which is good because it provides enhancement to your smartphone A fingerprint sensor is present at the back of the case and it is built in a rounded shape structure.              

Audio jack and charging port is present on the right-hand side of the mobile phone and volume rocker is also present so it is much easy to increase or decrease the volume when you play music or see videos. The protection of Gorilla glass is included int he smartphone so that there is less chance to damage or scratch in the display. It behaves like a guard and protects your display from the external damages. It gives you three color options: Red, Aurora White, and Black. All the colors look so decent.

Now come to its back part. There is a dual camera present at the top left side of the handset with LED flash and just below that, a fingerprint scanner is present. No grill is present on the back side. On the left-hand side,  a single grill is present with the charging port of micro USB 2.0 but there is no fast charging and wireless charging but it is common if we see other handsets in this segment. Display

Vivo Y83 has a very decent display of 6.22 inches (15.8 cm) and contain a feature of IPS LCD display which is the best display. You can easily see the videos and web browsing on this big screen with a lot of clarity. The handset delivers you 720 * 1520 pixels screen resolution so that the screen gives you more smoothness and decent work. We expected much from this handset but this is also not so bad according to the range of price. The aspect ratio of 19:9 is the good ratio if we compare other handsets with this smartphone in this segment. Nobody gives this featured screen in other brands also. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass so that there is no fear of scratch in the handset. This glass protects you from all the external damages like scratching the screen and other damages also.

           

The pixel density of 270 PPI with 82.33% screen to body ratio is enough to say that this is the best smartphone which is available in the low budget. So, you can purchase this at an affordable price. A big screen display gives you the ability to watch movies in high pixels. The display looks so nice when you watch movies on it. At the bottom of the display, a chin is present. The screen resolution gives you high-quality display so you cannot face the problem with pixel distortion. The touch of display runs so smooth by a single hand. It gives you a nice color when you view from a different angle. The viewing angles of this display are so clear and impressive so that when you see your handset from any of the angles it gives you a good resolution. Overall, display of this handset is amazing.

Performance

It delivers you the latest processor called MediaTek Helio P22 and GE8320 Graphics and runs on Android Oreo which gives you a good efficiency and performance. When you do your daily work on this handset then you will surely have no complaint from this smartphone because it performs quite good. It performs well when you use multiple apps at a time. You cannot face any problem with the performance and speed because it provides you a 4 GB of RAM through which you can run the bundle of apps in your handset. The 2 GHz Octa-core processor with cortex A53 gives you a decent performance. You can play games and use apps in a single time also without facing the hanging or speed problem.     

Vivo Y83 comes with a internal storage of 32 GB with an expandable memory of 256 GB with using microSD card. So you can store heavy data into it. When we did a test with this handset then we found that it is not usable of high quality or heavy games. The handset works slow when you play heavy games yet but it is much usable for casual games. Camera

Y83 provides you with 13-megapixel primary camera with LD flash which gives you decent or an amazing picture with ISO control facility. There are many features available in this handset like focus on touch, face detection, digital zoom, and auto flash.  It is available with the F2.2 aperture which is common in most smartphones at this price. But when you shoot the pictures with the camera then there is a small noise happen but it is not a major issue with this handset. Practically, it is not so much convenient with dim light conditions. Means it does not give you a high-quality image while using the camera in low light condition. The captured images come in a resolution of 4128 x 3096 Pixels which is good in this smartphone.

              

There is a front shooter of 8 megapixels is available with the F2.2 aperture which helps you to give high-quality pictures in harsh lighting. You can record a video in 1920x1080 resolution with 30 fps. The clarity of the video is not good in low light. This is the only disappointment in this handset but it is fine for us because you cannot achieve more features phone in this segment. Vivo offers you a new mode which is known as AI Beautification mode help you to shoot selfies in more decent quality. It is just like adding filters in the camera to take good selfies. Overall, camera quality is quite impressive but not so perfect.

Battery

Vivo Y83 delivers you a good battery life of 3260 mAH Li-Ion battery. It is enough to use the smartphone for a day while using the handset in a decent way. But if you use full time in a pusher mode then it will not run for a day. You need to carry a charger with you if you want to use this handset intensely. It takes 2.5 to 3 hours for a full charge. A micro USB port is present at the bottom of the handset but there is no fast charging or wireless charging is available in this device. So it takes more time to charge comparison to other smartphones which has a feature of fast charging. Overall, battery life is good if you use your device on a daily basis activity without heavy usage.

Connectivity in Vivo Y83

There are some common features available in this device like Wifi 802.11, mobile hotspot, and USB connectivities of a Mass storage device, micro USB 2.0, and USB charging is present. There is no fast charging present in the smartphone. Bluetooth v5.0 is included with A-GPS facility so that you can track the way which you want. A 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity are there and two Sim slots are available in the mobile phone with both Nano type Sims. The voLTE network connection is present so you cannot face the network issue but as we all know that it is not totally dependent on the device. Overall, the configuration and connectivity are good in the handset. It is much appreciable than any other device in this range.
