iVooMi is a Chinese brand which comes in the Indian market in March 2017. It is famous in China but not much famous in India because of the recently established in the Indian market. But its smartphone are damn good and they always give the users the best featured mobile phone with advanced features in a low budget. Recently, they launched a new smartphone iVooMi i2 in just Rs. 7,499. In this budget, you will never find such a featured smartphone with advanced functionality. Well, iVooMi i2 comes in a beautiful and stylish box of white color with a series name i2 on the bottom side. The shape of the box is a rectangle and when you open the box, you will easily find all the accessories. The packaging material uses in the boxing is damn solid. You will definitely attract with the box because of its style and looks. The arrangement of all the accessories is assigned in such a way that when you open the box, firstly you get the mobile phone and side by side you will find all the accessories.

Design and Build

iVooMi i2 comes with decent and stylish looks. The main thing which makes the device more stylish is the 3D glass effect. In this bracket of price, you will never see this amazing effect. At the front side, you get an HD display with the large screen with the front camera on the upper side of the device along with the LED flashlight. On the back side, you will get the back panel of some plastic material which is removable. Dual camera is present in the oval type shape and in the middle of the dual rear camera, you will find a LED flashlight. At the center of the back side, there is a branding iVooMi in a stylish manner. At the top of the edge, there is a headphone jack through which you can connect your earphones with USB port for sharing the data to other smartphones.

You will get the volume rocker button along with the on or off button at the right side of the edge but the left edge is empty. Loudspeaker and primary microphone are present at the bottom of the edge. The sound quality of iVooMi i2 is just above from the average. But the main point of concern in this smartphone is its built-in technique. They suffer a lot but does not achieve success. Its back panel is loose immediately when you press again and again. As we told you above that back panel is covered with a glass finish so it works as a  fingerprint magnet and when you touch the smartphone with your fingers then it might get dirty sometimes. Performance and Storage

iVooMi i2 uses modest features and latest processor of Mediatek MTK6739 with 1.5 MHz quad-core through which you can use applications in a fast way. The Android version which iVooMi uses is also latest and that is Android 8.1 Oreo. After purchasing the new iVooMi i2, you will get a new and smart experience. Your apps will run faster and smoother. You will not face any problem with multitasking. Since the chipset is entry grade so it is well suited for the users who want the smartphone for fulfilling the basic needs.

Custom UI is present at the top through which you can get some extra and advanced features. You will find that features here which you cannot find int he smartphone based on vanilla Android. It is mandatory to say that it is a Dual SIM with 4G voLTE network and you can use two Jio SIM cards without any network issues. It's 3 GB RAM allows you to use more than one applications at a single time. You can do work here in two apps simultaneously. But if you open 6 to 7 applications at one time then it may happen that you will face some issues.

Yeah, iVooMi i2 give you an amazing experience because you can store large data because it offers you to store that data up to  32 GB and if this is less for you then there is also an expandable memory up to 128 GB. So, you can use this memory after filling the internal memory. Well, I used this device and I stored only important data in the memory and it works well. Overall, the storage is enough for basic users. To increase the storage of handset, you need to use the micro SD card which is easily available on any of the stores. So, you can store various types of data like songs, videos, games, and your personal documents.

Camera of iVooMi i2

For clicking decent pictures, iVooMi i2 offers a dual rear primary camera of 13 megapixel and secondary camera with 2 megapixels. The extra feature is also there in the form of the sensor through which user can easily capture the images in the blurry background and uses aka portrait shots. Nice bokeh effect is there but the same problem which is present in other smartphone is also there. You cannot click good pictures in low light. It is not able to give you a decent picture with no light. Although LED flashlight is available on the rear camera it does not works well at night. No doubt camera gives you a better shot in daylight. Bokeh effect is good but there is less control because a small blue circle is present and you need to keep the object in the blue circle.        

So, the result gets poor sometimes. The areas near by the circle are automatically blurred after clicking the picture which is not so much good.iVooMi i2 delivers you a front camera for taking good selfies or shots with 8 megapixels camera with LED flashlight. There is less difference in the quality of front and rear camera. You will feel that both contain the same number of pixels due to its quality. When you get the image then you see that the pictures click in the day is better than night. You get many noisy pictures at night. It uses a LED flashlight but it works well at some feet but after that, it is disturbing.

You will click the pictures at parties, wedding functions and many more places in a good quality. Overall, it is one of the best cameras for taking selfies in this less range. The camera uses a focus lock means when you move the camera then it will give you a non-blurry and clear image. This is the feature on which iVooMi works and overcome this issue.

Battery Capacity

This is the main part in which iVooMi focuses. They give you a high capacity battery in iVooMi i2. A battery of 4,000 mAh gives you a large battery back up so that you can use your mobile phone for a long period of time after the full charge. If you use your smartphone casually and for basic work then this handset gives you a battery back up of at least 1.5 to 2 days which is amazing in this segment. Because there are few smartphones in the Indian market which give you this high capacity battery considering its less range.                          

The non-removable type of battery allows you to play games and watching movies without discharging. So, don't worry about the charging again and again. It also gives you a fast charging capability means you can charge your device in almost 1 to 2 hours. In this segment, you cannot find such a huge capacity battery of handset.

Pros and Cons of iVooMi i2

Perhaps, there are other brand smartphones which give you more features but they also have some disadvantages like iVooMi i2. So, let us see its cons and then discuss its pros:

In India, iVooMi i2 is easily available on the Flipkart at just Rs. 7,499 only in three variants but Indigo Blue looks more stylish than any other color according to me. If we consider some difference which stands out in comparison with other smartphones then it contains a high capacity battery and 3D Glass finishing at its back. The only disappointment in iVooMi i2 is its chipset and lack of fingerprint sensor. But facial recognition feature overcomes the problem of a fingerprint sensor. Performance is just average but the storage capacity is impressive. The handsets which give competition to iVooMi i2 are Redmi 5A, Honor 7A, and Honor 7C which has almost the same features as iVooMi i2. My suggestion is to know more about these smartphones then go for iVooMi i2. Because then you will understand the difference between the features of all these smartphones.

Should you buy it?

If you are searching for a smartphone with good looks and average features then iVooMi i2 is totally worth to purchase. Do not worry about the fingerprint sensor because facial recognition is present which works well. Perhaps there are other smartphones like Redmi 5 which has a feature of 5.7 inches display with 18:9 aspect ratio and build with the metal body but it cost Rs. 7,999 only. But it gives you a single rear camera with only 2 GB of RAM and internal storage of 16 GB. You can also see Infocus Turbo 5 plus which gives you a battery capacity of 4,850 mAh with the dual rear camera but the size of the screen is 5.5 inches with the aspect ratio of 16:9. Remembering all these features, I think iVooMi i2 is one of the best-looking handsets with good features.
