Samsung works on this smartphone to improve the performance. I am not saying that there is a big difference between Samsung S9 Plus or S8 but some difference is there. They use a Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8890 chipset with Android Oreo 8.1 but still, they are not able to compete with the Apple iPhone. They can work on audio quality. A 3.5mm jack is present in this handset which gives you better sound quality than any other smartphone. Bixby is same as in the previous handset but some improvement is there. You can easily convert the words through the camera. Hence, the performance is quite nice and speed is fast because of the latest processor and RAM.     

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus give you a RAM of 6 GB which helps in increasing the processor speed. You can easily switch from one app to the other app and play games in an easy way. The 64 GB of internal storage is there with 400 GB external storage by using an external micro SD card. This is very helpful to store the data in heavy amount. It is IP68 certified means it gives you the protection from water and dust. If you keep the smartphone with the depth of 1.5 meters for 30 min then nothing will happen with your smartphone. This is the best advantage which gives you best security part. There are fewer smartphones available in the market which give IP68 feature. So, this is not for only the basic users. If we consider the biggest selling point of Samsung mobile phones then that is its photography. Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus offers you a dual rear primary camera of 12 megapixels plus 12 megapixels with LED flash which give you very high-quality pictures. Autofocus, Digital Zoom and many more common features which are available in all the smartphones are also present in S9 Plus. Its F2.4 aperture gives you a better quality image with the high image resolution. You can record a video at 4K at a speed of 30 frames per second which is so high. But this camera does not perform well in low light. If you want to capture the images and by mistake, the camera is little bit move then it will give you blurry image. It will give you decent pictures in daylight.  

Now come to its back snapper. The 8-megapixel front camera offers you to capture the good selfies. But the same problem is with the front camera also. You cannot take the very high-quality image in dim light. I think people need a smartphone just because of the camera sometimes so they can capture good images like baby's first step, marriage pictures, etc. This camera is perfect for all these types of images. Samsung uses the telephoto lens in the camera which is helpful to focus on a particular thing or face while using the snapper. If you need a smartphone especially for camera quality then go for another smartphone. It does not completely fulfill your need. Overall, for basic users, the camera is perfect.

Battery

The non-removable Li-ion battery of 3500 mAH gives you a facility to use the smartphone for a full day. But if you are a heavy user means when you use the smartphone intensely then obviously the back up is not too much. Every Android smartphone has less battery backup than simple handsets because of the running applications all the time. But the battery of Galaxy S9 plus has a better life.

It also delivers you a function of quick charging and wireless charging. So there is no need to keep your charger in the pocket all the time. Just charge your handset for almost 1 to 1.5 hours and then use it for a whole day without any low battery notification. If you do web browsing or using social websites like Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc then it will give you at least 25 hours of battery life which is better in this segment.

We all know that Samsung disappoint us recently due to some cons but it also has some pros. Let us discuss some cons first:

The market is growing day by day in terms of Android smartphones and at this stage when a new Samsung Galaxy S9 plus smartphone launched then it was assumed that it gives all the latest features and give advanced feature quality camera. But personally, I am not much impressed with this camera quality. Because when we talk about the price range then in this price range, we have a better camera facility in other smartphones in the market.

Although battery backup is good. IP68 certified smartphone means it will protect your handset from scratches, water, and dust. But if you need my advice then do not go for this handset if you are looking for camera performance. Samsung Galaxy S9 plus is not capable to give you a very high-quality picture. No doubt about its wide angle range. If we can consider other things besides the camera then this smartphone is perfect for you. See, the user need a handset according to the requirement which they want. So, if S9 plus fulfill your need then go and buy it.
